Maharashtra State Power Generation Company Limited (MAHAGENCO) has released a job notification for various chemist positions.    • M.Sc. in Chemistry (Organic/Inorganic/Environmental) OR
   • B.Sc. in Chemistry.
   • Minimum 7 years of experience (12 years for B.Sc. holders) in a Thermal Power Station.
3. Deputy Executive Chemist:
   • B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Technology OR
   • M.Sc. in Chemistry (Organic/Inorganic/Environmental) OR
   • B.Sc. in Chemistry.
   • Minimum 3 years (7 years for B.Sc. holders) of experience in a Thermal Power Station.
4. Assistant Chemist:
   • B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Technology OR
   • M.Sc. in Chemistry (Organic/Inorganic/Environmental) OR
   • B.Sc. in Chemistry.
   • No experience required for B.Tech/M.Sc. holders, 3 years for B.Sc. holders.
5. Junior Chemist:
   • B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Technology OR
   • M.Sc. in Chemistry (Organic/Inorganic/Environmental) OR
   • B.Sc. in Chemistry.
   • No experience required.

Age Criteria

• Executive Chemist, Additional Executive Chemist: Maximum 40 years (57 years for MAHAGENCO employees).
• Deputy Executive Chemist, Assistant Chemist, Junior Chemist: Maximum 38 years (57 years for MAHAGENCO employees).
• Age relaxation: 5 years for reserved category, 45 years for Divyang, Ex-Servicemen, PAP, and Sportsperson quota.

Total Vacancies

The selected candidates will be posted at various Thermal Power Stations operated by MAHAGENCO in Maharashtra.
