- The tenure remains three years maximum.
- Candidates who have already completed three years of Senior Residency in any Government institution are ineligible.
Age Criteria
- The candidate must be below 45 years of age as of the interview date.
- Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India rules for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/Ex-Servicemen.

Salary
- Basic Pay: Rs. 67,700/- per month (Level 11 pay scale).
