Job Description

Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) Medical College & Hospital, Faridabad, under the Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India, has announced vacancies for the post of Senior Resident (SR) in various medical departments. The recruitment will be conducted through a walk-in interview on 17th February 2025.

The recruitment aims to fill tenure-based positions for three years, subject to renewal or extension every year. The Senior Resident roles are available in both Specialist and Super Specialist categories.

Qualification

For Senior Resident (Specialist):

  • The candidate must have a Medical Postgraduate Degree (MD/MS/DNB) in the relevant field.
  • The candidate should be currently pursuing or have completed residency in the respective department.
  • The tenure for this position is not more than three years.
  • These positions are not considered faculty positions.

For Senior Resident (Super Specialist):

  • The candidate must be registered for DM/MCh in the respective field.
  • Alternatively, candidates with MD/MS/DNB in the concerned broad specialty are also eligible.
  • The tenure remains three years maximum.
  • Candidates who have already completed three years of Senior Residency in any Government institution are ineligible.

Age Criteria

  • The candidate must be below 45 years of age as of the interview date.
  • Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India rules for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/Ex-Servicemen.
